I love drawing and being creative. But sometimes I find it difficult to get motivated to draw. Often times the problem is that I just can't find the time. Or I am so tired from work that I can't get motivated to work on my art. So I wondered...what inspires you to draw or be creative?

For me, it's taking a blank canvass and turning it into something. I still love looking at blank paper and getting that sense of wonder as if to ask, "What will this turn into?" It could be anything. Of course you always hope it will become an amazing piece of art, but sometimes that isn't what happens and it is less than stellar, but it becomes something from which you can learn. I like creating something from nothing. I like the sense of accomplishment. Even though it takes a lot of time and lonely hours to get a piece done, I always savor the moment I finish something and bask in the fruits of my labor. Taking an concept that you've had in your head and putting it out there can be so rewarding. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject of creativity.
